Columbus Ohio

Columbus Ohio is the state capital of Ohio. The city's Scioto Mile is an exciting ribbon of streets on both sides of the river, with large open parks and a walking trail to boot!

Downtown Columbus is home to the beautiful Science Center. The museum features a world-class planetarium and an interactive planetarium where you can view the stars, planets, and satellites. There are also a few museums inside the museum, including a small dinosaur museum and the National World War II Museum.

In Columbus, the stately COSI Science Center features a giant robot, and many exhibits showcasing the history of the cosmos. The COSI Center for Life and Space features an exhibit devoted to the "Star Trek: The Original Series." This is also the site of the Franklin County Museum. There is also the Central Ohio Children's Museum, where you will find an exhibit about the history of the Franklin County. Other attractions in Columbus are the Central Ohio History Museum, the Centerville Gallery, and the Columbus Zoo.

Across the street from the Science Center is the newly renovated Scioto Valley Metroplex (commonly known as the "VML"), which houses the former Scioto Avenue Mall. The shopping complex offers plenty of fun things to do and see in addition to shopping. You'll find specialty shops, restaurants, boutiques, cafes, and even a spa.

Columbus also has a great nightlife. There are several theaters to choose from such as the Scioto Playhouse and the Majestic Theatre. The Majestic Theatre is also home to a well-known annual film festival called the Black Film Festival. There are also many fine restaurants in town.

Columbus also has many sports teams to cheer for. The most popular among them is the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Columbus Zoo and the Ohio State University are also located in Columbus. Both of these schools host great sporting events and you can attend them year round.

Columbus is also home to one of the largest museums in the world, the National Museum of Natural History. The National Museum of Natural History houses some of Natural History houses a massive collection of specimens, including the world's largest collection of dinosaurs. The museum has been visited by several celebrities.

Columbus also hosts a lot of festivals throughout the year. There is a Jazz Fest held every summer during the month of August, a Labor Day celebration in early September, and a Halloween Celebration in October. Columbus is also the home of the annual Cinco de Mayo.

Columbus also has many restaurants and other places to visit. Restaurants such as Olive Garden and The Brasserie serve good food at very reasonable prices. There are also many fine shopping places in the Columbus area that have been designed with visitors in mind. In fact, Columbus is considered to be the shopping capital of the world.

Columbus also has its own airport and many people live in the area because of the employment opportunities and educational opportunities offered by Columbus State Community College. Schools also offer a number of programs that are available for students who are interested in pursuing a career in education. Columbus State Community College is also home to the Columbus School of Art and Design.

Columbus is also home to many popular attractions, such as the Scioto Zoo, the Columbus Museum, and the Columbus Museum of Art and Design. These are all wonderful places to visit and see.

Columbus is also home to some of the best restaurants in Ohio. The food scene in the Columbus area is a bit different than in other cities, so you will want to take your time while you are in Columbus. Many of the Columbus restaurants specialize in one type of cuisine. There are also several fine dining restaurants.

Some of the best Columbus restaurants are The Blue Moon Inn on the south side of downtown Columbus, The Nava and O'Brien's Irish Pub at the center of town, and The Union Pub on the north side. These are only a few of the great restaurants to visit and sample.
